The Rugby-Bottineau Peewees opened ND  Amateur Hockey Association league play this past weekend with a 10-3 win over Grafton-Park River.  Rugby- Bottineau dominated from the drop of the puck scoring 4 goals in the first 6 minutes (including a hat trick from Grant). Amsbaugh led all scorers with 4 goals and Grant had 3 goals. Moum, Lorenz, and Gilji (1st goal of the season) each added a goal. Clements faced 15 shots. Rugby -Bottineau  is now 4 and 4 in overall play, placing 4th in a recent Boissevain Tournament. The team is 2 and 2 in SW  R egional  H ockey  L eague (Manitoba)  play. Amsbaugh, Grant, and Lorenz have paced the scoring. Rugby -Bottineau  face Grand Forks Jets in their first home (Rugby) game this Sunday , December 13.

 Rugby-Bottineau Peewees tied Grand Forks Jets 6-6. The team overcame a 2 goal deficit in the third to tie the game and take the lead on short-handed goals by Lorenz and Amsbaugh. The jets tied the game late in the third period and neither team scored in overtime. Amsbaugh (hat trick) and Lorenz each had 4 points and Grant had 3 points. Clements faced 37 shots. Rugb y-Bottineau   peewees play 3 games next weekend, including home games against Boissevain in Bottineau (Saturday) and against GF Mustangs in Rugby (Sunday).

Rugby -Bottineau  Bantams dropped a close road game 3-4 against Boissevain. Bedlion, Grant, and Schaan scored for Rugby -Bottineau . Monson faced 43 shots. The Bantams play 3 games next weekend, including 2 home games in Bottineau Friday (Melita) and Saturday (Souris).
